Mr Nguyen Thanh Tung, the Head of the T26 Administration Department under Party Central Committee Office in Central Viet Nam on Tuesday morning visited and handed congratulation flower basket sent by President Vo Van Thuong to the Da Nang Newspaper in recognition of the 98^th anniversary of the Viet Nam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21).

During his meeting with leaders of the Da Nang Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung extended his best wishes to staff of the newspaper on the occasion of their special day.

He applauded remarkable accomplishments of the Da Nang Newspaper in recent years. He also spoke highly of the newspaper’s efforts in timely publicizing the relevant information about the Party and national government’s guidelines, policies and laws, thereby proving itself as worthy of being the local Party newspaper.

Mr. Tung hoped that in the coming time, the Da Nang Newspaper would continue its efforts to uphold its achievements and perform effectively its assigned tasks, and use national orientations to assist in intensifying public trust in the national and municipal governments.

In reply, Editor-in-Chief of the Da Nang Newspaper Nguyen Duc Nam expressed sincere thanks to President Vo Van Thuong for his special care and spiritual encouragement through sending congratulation flower basket to the newspaper’s staff.

Mr Nam remarked that congratulation flowers from President Vo Van Thuong would deepen the Newspaper’s sense of pride and responsibility in effectively performing its assigned tasks in order to meet growing demand for the newspaper industry, as well as meet the expectations of President Vo Van Thuong and readers.

On the same day, many agencies, units, businesses, authorities at local level visited and congratulated Da Nang Newspaper’s staff on Viet Nam Revolutionary Press Day.
