On Wednesday, President Vo Van Thuong visited the family of People's Teacher Nguyen Trong Hoang residing in Binh Thuan Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang, on the occasion of Vietnamese Family Day (June 28). This is the typical cultural family of the city.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, President Vo Van Thuong wished People's Teacher Nguyen Trong Hoang and his family good health and happiness.

He affirmed that the family of Mr. Hoang is a model family of many generations, living responsibly to the society and well performing tasks assigned by the Party, the State and society.

Mr. Thuong remarked the Party and State always attached great importance to family as this is the first educational environment and a place to incubate personality, thereby creating a mature environment for citizens, good families, and a good new society.

President Vo Van Thuong hoped that the good values of the teacher's family need to be spread and replicated not only in the city but also throughout the country for a more sustainable and better society.

On behalf of the family, elite teacher Le Thi Nga, daughter-in-law of People's Teacher Nguyen Trong Hoang thanked the leaders of the Party and State for their special attention and promised to ensure that their descendants continue to build a happy family, contributing to the construction and development of the city.

Born in 1924, People's Teacher Nguyen Trong Hoang joined the resistance war in 1945 in the Viet Bac War Zone. From 1954 to 1976, he worked at the Ministry of Education and Training and worked as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Educational Research.

From 1977 - 1984, he was former Vice Rector of Quang Nam - Da Nang Pedagogy College.

After retirement, People's Teacher Nguyen Trong Hoang returned to live with his children and grandchildren at17G Nguyen Thien Thuat, Da Nang.
