During his meeting on Monday with Swiss Ambassador to Viet Nam Thomas Gass, Da Nang People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh emphasised that Da Nang looked for cooperation opportunities with Swiss enterprises in such spheres as innovative startup, technology, and digital transformation.

The host informed his guest about the city’s aspects appealing for investment such as information technology, high-tech industry, start-ups, innovation and tourism, along with the international financial center project.

Mr. Chinh asked for support from Swiss diplomat to call on more organisations, businesses and investors from his country to invest in Da Nang in fields which are their strengths, including international finance, banking, Fintech, high-tech industry, information technology, start-ups, innovation and tourism.

In reply, Ambassador Thomas Gass thanked the city's leader for his warm welcome and expressed his willingness to accompany and expand cooperation with Da Nang in the fields of innovative start-ups, high-tech industry, and tourism services.

He also pledged to act as a bridge to promote the Viet Nam-Switzerland cooperative relationships as well as reap more good results from cooperation projects with the central coastal city in the coming time.
