The Management Board of the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Parks and the municipal Department of Industry and Trade recently hold a meeting with Samsung Group to discuss a project to support the development of smart factories for city-based businesses.

During their meeting, the Samsung Group representative introduced detailed information about the smart factory support project under the cooperation programme between Samsung Korea and the Ministry of Industry and Trade signed in February 2022.

The purpose of the project is to improve the professional capacity of domestic consultants, enhance the production operation capacity of factories based on the basis of information technology and digital transformation, improve supply capacity and increase production efficiency, thereby helping domestic enterprises increase development opportunities and deeply participate in the global supply chain.

In 2023, the project will continue to be implemented at 24 businesses in Northern and Southern regions, and at two enterprises in Da Nang on a trial basis as proposed by the Management Board of the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Parks.
