Over 70 representatives from organisations, businesses, cooperatives and business households involving the agricultural, forestry and fishery industry in Da Nang attended a seminar on applying codes and barcodes for traceability in supply chain management on October 24 and 25.

Hosted by the municipal Department of Science and Technology, the event aimed to help participants access and grasp legal requirements, apply codes and barcodes for traceability in supply chain management, and ensure publicity and transparency of traceability information of products and goods on the market.

During the event, participating units were given an overview of digital transformation applications in the agriculture, forestry and fishery industry, as well as were supported to register and apply barcodes in supply chain management in the agro-forestry-fishery sector. This helped businesses and cooperatives master knowledge, innovate business methods, increase investment in technology to improve product quality, and create a collaborative and development working environment.
