Police and military officers and soldiers in Da Nang enhanced their efforts to evacuate flood-affected residents to safe shelters from Friday night until Saturday.

Officers and soldiers of the city-based armed forces continuously waded into the water, carrying lifebuoys to low-lying areas, and approaching each house in order to assist people to move their belongings to higher places, and take the elderly, women, and children to safe places.

Besides, they bought necessities, bread, food, and bottles of drinking water to several flood-hit households. All the images left a good mark in the hearts of local people.
