Winners of a contest to find the best ideas for floral displays and lighting decorations in Da Nang for the Tet Festival 2024 were announced on Friday.

The contest’s organisers received 12 entries in the category of floral displays, and 9 entries in the category of lighting decorations. All ideas showed enthusiasm, creativity and especially the spirit of dedication to society.

As a result, there were one first prize of VND20 million, one second prize of VND10 million, one third prize of VND5 million, and 3 consolation prizes of VND3 million each, in each category.

In particular, the ‘Brilliant Han Giang’ project by a group of students from the Da Nang University of Science and Technology won the first prize in the category of lighting decorations. The group members were Thai Thi Hong Thuy, Pham Duy Hung, Le Xuan Me, Nguyen Thanh Tan, and Van Huu Toan.
