Before implementing the above-mentioned model, the Hai Chau District People's Committee held a social review conference to draft the plan to deploy the model along with many actual inspection sessions on the quality and quantity of rooms and toys. The opening ceremony of the model officially took place on September 23.

The model is being piloted at 68A Nguyen Trai in Hai Chau 2 Ward; 230 Trung Nu Vuong in Binh Thuan Ward; alley No. 448/85 Trung Nu Vuong in Hoa Thuan Dong; and the An Binh Cultural House on Tran Duc Thao Street in Hoa Cuong Nam.

After more than a week of pilot operation, the model has brought children a useful and safe playground, thereby receiving much approval from their parents.

As observed by our reporter, on Saturday afternoon, many parents brought toys to the Children's toy library in Hai Chau 2 Ward with the hope that local children will have more meaningful and safe playgrounds after stressful school hours.

Mrs. Phan Thi My Le, a resident of Hai Chau 2 Ward, shared "I feel very satisfied with this model because of its practical meaning for children in the area. Hopefully there will be more safe and healthy for children".

According to Chairman of Hai Chau District People's Committee Le Tu Gia Thanh, the model is being implemented in a trial basis in the four aforementioned wards, whilst the remaining 9 wards will continue to implement the model this year.

"I hope that families and sponsors will continue to support more toys to join hands with us to create more useful playgrounds for children in the locality” Mr. Le Tu Gia Thanh added.
