After the implementation of the peak month ‘For the Poor’ (from October 17 to November 18, 2023), over VND9.4 billion was raised for the ‘For the Poor’ Fund from 199 agencies, units and organisations, plus officials, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, and those receiving salaries and allowances from the State budget.

During the month, associations and unions at all levels, along with many individuals and organisations, citywide joined hands to spread the spirit of charity towards the poor and the vulnerable. This contributed to ensuring social welfare in the city, especially as the Lunar New Year 2024 is approaching.
