Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Confederation of Labour Le Van Dai hoped that the Trade Union organisations at all levels will actively carry out extensive propaganda work in many forms to union members and workers about the meaning of the Tet tree planting campaign, and the role and human values of planting trees and forests.
"Planting trees must be practical and effective, and at the same time promote the value of the landscape environment with the goal of greening the office and working corner" Mr. Le Van Dai emphasised.

After the launching ceremony, union members and workers of the Trade Union organisations at all levels planted 1,000 trees of khaya senegalensis, Indochina dragonplum and longan at the vacant land nearby the Bau Tram Lake.
The planting of trees contributed to helping the city successfully achieve its goal of planting 5,017,000 trees by the end of 2025 in a bid to protect the ecological environment, improve the landscape and respond to climate change.
On the occasion, the municipal Confederation of Labour gave lucky money to union members and workers who participated in the tree-planting campaign.
