Da Nang strives to ensure political and social security at Tet 2024

On the evening of Friday (February 9), before the New Year's Eve, Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Le Trung Chinh visited and extended his words of great encouragement to agencies and forces on duty during the ongoing traditional Vietnamese Lunar New Year (Tet) 2024holiday break.

At the Da Nang Military Command, Chairman Chinh highly appreciated and praised the contributions and efforts made by the city's armed forces to complete the tasks of maintaining national defense and security over the past year.

He requested the this agency to continue to closely monitor the whole city, promptly detect and handle issues affecting national defense and security, and successfully complete assigned tasks. The city leaders always pay attention, create conditions and continue to invest in technical facilities so that the force can carry out its tasks in an effective manner.

Extending his Lunar New Year wishes to those at the Da Nang Police Department, Chairman Chinh praised the responsibilities and achievements recorded by the local police force in maintaining security and order across the city during this special time.

The municipal government chief expressed his confidence and encouraged officers and soldiers to continue to promote their excellent achievements and proactively handle criminal cases, in tandem with promoting its core role in ensuring political security and social order in the city.

Also, the police force should coordinate with relevant units to ensure traffic safety, fire prevention and rescue during the ongoing Tet holiday break, thereby contributing to maintaining ensuring safety and stability, bringing peace for people to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet in a joyful vibes.

On the occasion of Tet 2024, Chairman of Chinh extended his wishes of good health to the local police officers and soldiers.

* Also on Friday evening, Chairman Chinh offered incense to pay tribute to predecessors at Thoai Ngoc Hau Temple located in Son Tra District and offered tribute to heroic soldiers at Phuoc Ninh Martyrs' Cemetery national relic site located in Hai Chau District.
