Since the early morning of February 8, staff of the Traffic Police Division have been present at two points on National Highway 1A and National Highway 14B passing through Da Nang to distribute gifts to the above-mentioned motorbike drivers.

This highly meaningful and practical activity is implemented to support, empower and share with people who work far away from their home and have to ride motorbikes hundreds of kilometers to return home.

Accordingly, the Da Nang officers and soldiers by themselves prepared 250 gifts with each containing cakes, milk and water bottles, to these travellers. The cost of the  gifts was from donations made by the Da Nang traffic police officers and soldiers.

During the last days of the year, despite being busy on duty to ensure security, order and traffic safety during the peak period of the 2024 Tet holiday break, the Da Nang police officers and soldiers still spent such valuable time to share with people living in difficult circumstances.

“People returning home by motorbike are mostly workers living in difficult circumstances. Fully aware of their hardship, the Da Nang police officers and soldiers prepared small gifts to them with the desire to share a certain part of hardship facing their journey back home to celebrate Tet.”, said Captain Phan Thinh Hung, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Traffic Police Division.

Along with the provision of necessities, the Da Nang traffic police force have also paid attention to instructed these travellers to make way back to their hometowns more convenient and safer.
