The Bach Dang Walking Street and night-time tourism services on the Nguyen Van Troi Bridge, and a park on the eastern end of this bridge will open to the public in early June. Next is the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2024 which will take place from June 8 until July 13. Hence, the Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company has been active in taking action in an attempt to ensure the quality of environments to best serve local residents and tourists.

Hai Chau Environmental Enterprise Director Ho Trong Khanh said that the enterprise has developed a plan to preserve the quality of environments for the Bach Dang Walking Street. On the afternoon of May 15, the District authority discussed and worked with the Enterprise and traders operating on the Bach Dang Walking Street on waste collection and protect the environment in a bid to best serve tourists.

Son Tra Environmental Enterprise Director Tran Mai Truong said that he had arranged sanitation workers, along with cleaning equipment, to collect trash in the Nguyen Van Troi Bridge and a park on the eastern end of the bridge.

Son Tra District authority has planned to sign an agreement with the namesake Environmental Enterprise to arrange sanitation workers and vehicles in order to ensure the environmental hygiene and urban beauty in this area. The Son Tra Environmental Enterprise is also coordinating with ward-level authorities to urgently conduct environmental cleanups in an effort to keep the environment clean to get ready for DIFF 2024.

The Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company is focusing on regularly conducting environmental cleanups. Heed is also paid to strengthening the coordination between the company, and authorities at local level, along with sanitation units to keep the streets and viewing areas clean and tidy during DIFF 2024. Importance is attached to place mobile toilets and trash bins in designated areas, and locations where auxiliary activities take place.

Furthermore, the company has developed a detailed plan to maximize its available resources to remove waste from roads and bridges as quickly as possible, as well as keep the Han River clean and beautiful.

Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company Deputy General Director Hoang Thi Ngoc Hieu remarked that the company would place nearly 60 mobile toilets, 250 trash bins at the fireworks shooting site, viewing stands and other crowded areas in a bid to best serve local residents and tourists. Special attention will be paid to cleaning roads and bridges during DIFF. High priority will be given to keeping grandstand area, along with fireworks shooting site and storage area, and others clean and tidy.

Moreover, around 200 sanitation workers and 10 specialized vehicles will be sent to designated areas for DIFF 2024 during fireworks show nights with the aim of removing trash from streets, bridges and crowded places before 1:00 a.m. right after each performance night. Special attention will be paid on keeping the environment clean in a bid to promote Da Nang as a green, clean, and beautiful city, thereby leaving a good impression on tourists.
