Standing office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Da Nang gives panoramic paintings of Dien Bien Phu Campaign to readers

The Standing Office of the Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper in Da Nang, located at 2 Tran Quy Cap Street, Hai Chau District, offered readers interactive panoramic paintings of Dien Bien Phu Campaign on Wednesday.

Accordingly, the Nhan Dan Newspaper presented 16,000 copies of the panorama painting "Dien Bien Phu Campaign" to readers in the Central Viet Nam - Central Highlands regions.

In particular, the Standing Office of the Nhan Dan Newspaper in Da Nang gives 3,000 copies to readers. Nhan Dan Newspaper’s representative offices in the provinces of Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Gia Lai and Kon Tum present 1,000 copies to readers in each province.

Mr. Uong Thai Bieu, Head of the Standing Office of the Nhan Dan Newspaper in Da Nang, said, following the success of the interactive panorama exhibition at the Nhan Dan Newspaper headquarters at 71 Hang Trong Street, Ha Noi with the participation of more than 30,000 people, the Newspaper decided to print 100,000 additional copies to give away for free to readers nationwide.

This special panorama was printed in the Nhan Dan Newspaper’s special edition on May 7 which has 12 additional pages depicting the 56-day Dien Bien Phu Campaign in both Vietnamese and English, including four pages printing the whole panorama of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.

Readers can cut and assemble the painting measuring up to 3.21 meters long (a record for a printed newspaper), scan the QR code from the painting, or download an augmented reality app for an interactive experience.
