Around 34 tonnes of trash collected on third night of DIFF 2024
Nearly 34 tonnes of garbage were collected after the German and Polish fireworks performances on the third night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2024 on Saturday, according to the Da Nang Urban Environment JSC.

Of the figure, around 22 tonnes of rubbish were collected in Son Tra District, and over 12 tonnes in Hai Chau District.
Although the volume of trash was equivalent to that on the second night of DIFF 2024, more plastic waste was generated, especially disposable raincoats because it rained right in the middle of the German team's performance.
The time to complete garbage collection was also longer because the garbage was wet and stuck to the roadbed and sidewalk.
Thanks to joint efforts by many forces, by midnight on the same day, the roads and bridges got back their cleanness and beauty.
Early on the morning of June 23, the company continued to clean the main roads and sidewalks again, both banks of the Han River, and fireworks shooting site.
