The Youth Union organisation of the Da Nang Government Department and Agency Bloc coordinated with the People's Committee of Hoa Lien Commune in Hoa Vang District to inaugurate the youth project on public lighting system in Truong Dinh Village on Wednesday.

The 800-meter-long project has 24 sets of 50W light bulbs installed on 19 low voltage electric poles and 5 newly built electric poles at a total cost of more than VND200 million.

The purpose of the project is to help Hoa Lien Commune complete its goal for building new-style rural areas, and at the same time, ensure security, order and traffic safety for Truong Dinh villagers when traveling at night.

On the occasion, the Youth Union organisation of the Da Nang Government Department and Agency Bloc donated 10 gifts to pupils with difficult circumstances in Hoa Lien Commune.
