Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee cum Head of the municipal Party Committee's Organising Board Nguyen Dinh Vinh visited the Da Nang Newspaper in recognition of the 99^th anniversary of Viet Nam’s Revolutionary Press Day (June 21) on Wednesday.

Deputy Secretary Vinh extended his best wishes to the editors, reporters and staff of the Da Nang Newspaper on their special day. He highly lauded the newspaper for its outstanding results in recent times, as well as acknowledged the newspaper’s quality journalistic works that leaf an impression in the hearts of readers.

He hoped that each journalist of the Da Nang Newspaper will have a deep understanding and consciousness of the political ethics of journalists, especially the awareness of the role, responsibility and position of the Party newspaper to perform well the political tasks.

Mr. Vinh asked the newspaper’s Editorial Board to continue to focus on the common goal of building the brand and image of Da Nang Newspaper, as well as learning from the experiences of press agencies nationwide to well implement its project on digital transformation during the 2022 - 2025 period, with a vision to 2030 in order to build an increasingly modern newspaper, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

In reply, Editor-in-Chief of the Da Nang Newspaper Nguyen Duc Nam reported that over the past time, the unit has made efforts to overcome difficulties and challenges to well carry out professional tasks and achieve positive results.

In particular, the Da Nang Newspaper has produced many multimedia products receiving high appreciation from readers, organised training courses on multimedia journalism for reporters, and established a media team to promote products on multiple platforms.
