Tran Dinh Huy, a ninth grader of the Hoang Dieu Junior High School, lives with his mother and brother in a makeshift house at 292/76/8 Hai Phong Street, Tam Thuan Ward, Thanh Khe District. His family faces financial difficulties and is classified as near-poor in the ward.

Despite these challenges, with regular support from the local community and benefactors such as the An Dien General Trading Co., Ltd, his family has overcome tough times to strive for a better life.

Currently, An Dien Company gives Huy a financial support of VND 1 million per month for school fees until he turns 18. Huy shared that thanks to the care and support from benefactors, he is assured on his educational journey, no longer worrying about dropping out.

Similarly, Tran Tu Nha, a fourth grader at the Tran Cao Van Primary School, comes from a difficult family background. She currently lives with her uncle and aunt in Tan Chinh Ward, Thanh Khe District, but life is challenging as her uncle suffered a stroke, and her aunt is unemployed to care for him. Despite her family’s situation, she continues her education thanks to the support from benefactors.

Tran Dinh Huy and Nguyen Tu Nha are just two of many pupils in challenging circumstances who have been supported to stay in school through timely assistance from local and social resources, including contributions from companies like An Dien. This company is active and well-known for its charitable activities in various fields such as education, healthcare, and environmental protection, aiding hundreds of students and families in difficult circumstances through cash gifts, housing support, sponsorship of single women, and startup assistance in the city.

Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, Director of the An Dien Company, cheerfully shared: "Charitable activities are a way for businesses to share social responsibilities and help the underprivileged, promoting social equity. Therefore, we are always ready to assist the poor and those in difficult situations. Additionally, the company aims to support young people on their entrepreneurial journey, believing that these contributions will foster the development of the business environment."

Community-focused activities have always been persistently carried out by many businesses and entrepreneurs as an integral part of their business culture, striving for a better community. Brand value is not only about business breakthroughs and profit maximisation but also demonstrated through charitable activities and corporate social responsibility, which help build a positive image, endearing the brand to the public and customers, and gradually leading to loyalty and attachment.

Rainscales Co., Ltd., Hai Chau 1 Ward, Hai Chau District, led by Director Tran Manh Huy, is a company that has significantly contributed to supporting the underprivileged by providing them with stable jobs and income. This support has enabled workers to repair their homes, purchase work equipment, and improve their living conditions. For many years, the company has not only helped the underprivileged develop but also achieved sustainable growth by closely aligning with community development.

In the face of the 4.0 industrial revolution, the company continuously researches and applies modern artificial intelligence technologies, transforming them into competitive advantages to enhance productivity and efficiency. Simultaneously, they actively participate in supporting the training of the underprivileged by offering skill-enhancing and retraining programs, helping workers develop new skills and become more confident in their jobs. This boosts their competitiveness in the labour market and adaptability to work.

According to the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs Association, with 780 members, charitable and community-focused activities have been annually organised for many years, targeting disadvantaged children, children with disabilities, children in orphanages, those in remote and border areas, and families in difficult circumstances, as well as residents in disaster-prone areas, with financial support amounting to billions of VND.

Nguyen Hong Cuong, Head of the Social Work Committee of the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs’ Association, shared that through years of organising community activities, besides responding to city-initiated programmes, the association conducts direct surveys and distributes gifts directly to the people, prioritising Da Nang, Quang Nam, and Hue. A distinctive feature is that the association combines these activities with networking events, enabling entrepreneurs and member businesses to directly participate, thereby motivating those in difficult situations to strive for a better life.
