Having joined the "Green Summer" campaign for the second time, Pham Thi Hai Yen, student of class 22CBC2 at the University of Science and Education, shared "Every campaign leaves unforgettable emotions and experiences on me. I feel very elated to contribute my youth and do something useful for society. At the same time, I also can improve my knowledge, develop soft skills and expand my relationships during the campaign".

As a volunteer in the team of tour guides, Dao Gia Bao, a student of class 21SNV3, said that “I was tasked with consulting and building a tour to Lien Chieu District, compiling documents for tour guides, and creating tourism promotion videos”.

In addition to consulting about relics and tourist attractions, the Youth Union organisation of the University coordinated with the Lien Chieu District’s Youth Union organisation to organise field trips to locations. This was also an opportunity to improve practical knowledge, practice teamwork skills, and better understand the customs and practices of local people, he added.

According to Mr. Nguyen Viet Hai Hiep, Secretary of the Youth Union organisation of the University of Science and Education, the "Green Summer" volunteer campaign is held every year, aimed at upholding the role of young people in boosting economic development, building new-style rural areas, fostering social work skills, and educating ethics and lifestyle for students.

During the festival, the young participants have been provided with traffic safety knowledge and safe driving skills; and informed about road traffic rules.
