These projects not only enhance the landscape and architecture but are also expected to transform the urban appearance and sustainably promote the socio-economic development of the district.
According to Mr Nguyen Hoang Viet, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Tra District, the planning and development of the subdivision along the Han River and its eastern bank is included in the master plan for Da Nang's major developments by 2030, with a vision to 2045. This subdivision is oriented to evolve into a series of urban areas along the Han River and its eastern bank, creating a new, modern, smart, and high-quality urban form. It is also a critical area in terms of national defence, tourism, and landscape, aligning with the city's overall planning.
The subdivision will feature a project on beautifying landscape on the eastern bank of the Han River, managed by the city’s Management Board of Industrial and Civil Engineering Construction and Investment Projects.
This project aims to enhance the landscape along Tran Hung Dao Street, catering to the recreational needs of the city's residents and aiming to become a tourist attraction in the future.
Notably, the Thuan Phuoc Bay New Urban Area project, developed by the Thuan Phuoc Bay Urban Investment JSC, will cover over 97.64 hectares with a population of approximately 17,200 people. It will consist of 5 to 6-star hotels and a 16.5ha themed park, aspiring to become a green and smart urban area using renewable energy.
Additionally, there will be other large-scale projects such as The Legend City Da Nang developed by VIPICO; the Marina Complex by Da Nang Marina JSC; the Capital Square 2 by Mega Assets Company, consisting of seven luxury apartment blocks; the Capital Square 3 by SIH Real Estate Company, also with seven apartment blocks ranging from 24 to 29 floors (1,710 apartments); and the 25-storey-plus-two-basement Aqua Tower project by Aqua Tower Company to be identified as an architectural highlight attracting residents to the Hoang Sa and Le Duc Tho areas, all contributing to the socio-economic development of northern Son Tra District.
Currently, the People's Committee of Son Tra District is the investor for the Western Park project near the Thoai Ngoc Hau Temple, ensuring space for temple activities and meeting the needs of visitors and tourists.
The district is also investing in building schools and community houses on Ly Dao Thanh, Morrison, My Khe 8, Trieu Viet Vuong, Thanh Vinh 4, and Truong Dinh streets. All feature modern architecture and friendly spaces that enhance community spirit and solidarity among residents.
“The exhibition is an opportunity for the district to broaden its vision and connection with investors, officials, residents, and tourists. It aims to share and collaborate in turning potential, strengths, goals, ideas, and plans into reality, helping Son Tra develop rapidly and sustainably,” emphasised Mr Nguyen Hoang Viet.
