A working delegation of Da Nang, led by Chairman of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Van Trung, visited and donated Phu Tho and Yen Bai provinces VND 2 billion each, with the aim to help these localities overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.

On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang, Mr. Trung sent his condolences and sympathies for the losses caused by storm No. 3 in the two provinces. He also expressed his hope that Phu Tho and Yen Bai provinces will soon overcome difficulties and stabilise people's lives.

Previously, at the ceremony to launch a campaign to support Typhoon Yagi's victims held by the Presidium of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee on the afternoon of September 10 in Ha Noi, Da Nang donated VND 33 billion, of which VND 3 billion was transferred to the Central Emergency Response Fund, and VND 30 billion was donated directly to typhoon-hit northern localities.
