Da Nang youth mobilise goods to help flood-hit people
On Thursday, the Youth Union and the Youth Federation of Da Nang in coordination with the municipal Young Entrepreneurs’ Association and the Pickup Truck Club mobilised and transported goods, life jackets, essential items, and necessities to support flood-hit people in the northern region.

Accordingly, they have so far mobilised 785 life jackets, 120kg of dried food, 224 boxes of instant noodles, 308 boxes of milk packages, 424 loaves of bread, 7,000 boxes of canned food, 8,972 bottles of water, 485kg of rice, 181 boxes of dried food, 800 boxes of canned fish and meat, 25 boxes of personal items (toothbrushes, laundry detergent, sanitary napkins, diapers, etc.), 40 boxes of clothes and blankets, 100 new clothes, 300kg of disinfectant powder, and 16 boxes of personal medicine. The total value of the donations is nearly VND1 billion.

The programme aims to provide spiritual and material support to people affected by typhoon No. 3, thereby contributing to reducing pain and loss, quickly restoring production and stabilising people's lives.
