Over 700 Youth Union members and young people across Da Nang joined the Youth Startup Consultancy Festival held by the municipal Youth Union on Saturday.

The event aimed to promote startup support for Youth Union members, young people, and students in the city in starting a business and helping each other develop the economy.

The event featured a total of 12 booths displaying startup and OCOP products such as beef sausage, cordyceps, fish sauce, rice and rice paper.

There were also a livestream contest, a talk show entitled "Understanding the industry, understanding the profession, starting a successful business", a forum on startup consulting and exchange activities, and some small games.

Deputy Secretary of the municipal Youth Union cum Chairman of the local Youth Federation Nguyen Ba Duan said that the annual festival was an opportunity for youth union members and young people to connect their start-up projects in many fields with businesses, thereby, facilitating them to form and realise start-up ideas and projects.
