Enterprises supporting and accompanying workers
Many enterprises in Da Nang have developed meaningful and practical ways to care for the well-being of their workers, especially during holidays, Tet, and the annual Workers’ Month. These activities promptly assist workers in overcoming difficulties, allowing them to work with peace of mind and remain committed to their companies and local communities.

Caring for material and spiritual life
SBI FPT Ltd., whose Trade Union is part of the Labour Federation of Ngu Hanh Son District, operates in IT, specializing in software publishing and programming, with a workforce of 60. Over the years, company leadership and the Union Executive Committee have collaborated closely to understand the feelings and concerns of union members and employees. This approach helps assign roles aligned with their skills and strengths, maximizing each individual's potential.
The company regularly organises cultural and sports events and acknowledges outstanding employees, creating an engaging competitive spirit. Mrs. Hoang Thi To Nga, the Managing Director, shares that employee benefits are always a priority, with annual salary increases averaging 5-10% and a 13th-month bonus to encourage employees and provide timely assistance in unexpected situations.
Bac My An Tourist Area JSC, a tourism and hospitality enterprise, has adapted flexibly to challenges posed by COVID-19. The company has not only maintained business operations but also ensured a stable livelihood for over 620 workers, focusing on job security, income, as well as skills training, and safe working conditions.
According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh, the company’s General Director, regular dialogues are organised between the management and workers. Through these discussions, the management team shares company performance, future plans, and upcoming projects, while employees are encouraged to voice their opinions and expectations. Engaging competitions are held, and workers are rewarded for their achievements. The company’s collective labour agreement includes provisions that are more favourable to employees than standard regulations. In coordination with the Trade Union, the company organises patriotic emulation movements and recognises employees’ contributions to production and service quality.
Accompanying enterprise development
With proper care, many workers are motivated to perform well, becoming outstanding contributors to their companies. For instance, Mr. Dang Thanh Thao, a Trade Union member of Asia-Pacific Architecture and Trade Co., Ltd., has introduced two innovative ideas that have proved highly effective in production: the “Paper Length Measurement System” and the “Overhaul and Expansion of Varnishing Line.” Mr. Thao shares, “We are fortunate to have the support of our leaders and Trade Union, allowing us to develop our skills and abilities. Through competitive activities, I strive to create and implement solutions that enhance production techniques, benefiting the company.”
Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Chi, Chairwoman of the Trade Union at Cam Le Senior High School, has initiated various activities and innovations to improve the lives of union members and employees within the school. From 2022 to 2024, Ms. Chi was recognised for two initiatives: "Building Mechanics Experiments for Physics 10 to Develop Students’ Physics Skills" and "Developing Physics Experiments for Physics 10 and Physics 11 Using Tracker Video Analysis Software to Enhance Students’ Physics Skills." For her contributions, she has been acknowledged by her school as “Outstanding Task Performer” and awarded the “Grassroots Emulation Soldier” title.
It is evident that businesses and units across the city have developed diverse and effective approaches to improve the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers, particularly during festivals, Tet, and Workers’ Month. These practical gifts and heartfelt encouragement have helped workers overcome challenges and strive for success in life. In return, when given proper attention and care, union members and workers dedicate themselves to their work, contributing to the sustainable development of their companies.
