Mr. Nam’s journey of searching and collecting currency bills was formed during his high school years. When he entered university, this young man had the opportunity to meet and connect with many sources of information about ancient and old banknotes. From there, Mr. Nam’s hobby of discovering the beauty and historical stories surrounding them was realized.
In the list of 560 commemorative banknotes from 125 countries, information about these paper currencies is divided into three parts: Introduction to the country, the reason and purpose of the banknote being issued, the image of the banknote and detailed analysis.
Some countries issued uncut commemorative banknotes but the details on the banknotes and their origins are analyzed. An interesting thing that Nam noticed is that the banknotes of countries located in the African region often have colourful, eye-catching patterns. In this way, when looking at the banknote, viewers can easily correctly identify the culture and economic development level.
Some countries also show their own scientific and technological achievements on the front of the banknote. This detail is highly appreciated by banknote collectors because of its spreading ability imbued with the pride of a country.
Each old banknote contains nostalgic emotions. Since then, more and more people have pursued their passion for old money like Nam.
