Time and venue:

• Opening ceremony: 7.00am on 18 December 2016 at the East Sea Park in Son Tra District
• Race route: East Sea Park - Pham Van Dong - Vo Nguyen Giap - East Sea Park

Participants:

• Junior and senior high school pupils
• University students and those from technical secondary schools or vocational training centres
• Employees from local and city-based national government agencies, departments, organisations, and businesses
• Military officers and men
• Police officers
• Expats living and working in Da Nang

Competition category:

• Professional runners: unlimited numbers
• Race distances: 7km for men and 5km for women

Awards:

The organisers will present cash prizes, plus gold, silver and bronze medals, to the first, second and third prize winners in each race.  Those who finish in fourth to tenth positions will also receive prizes.

Registration procedures

Expats who are living and working in the city can register for the competition by emailing their personal information to giangbaodn@gmail.com before 12 December 2016.  The information required is name, gender, date of birth, nationality, current residence and work addresses, competition category, phone number and email address.        

Expenses

Runners will be responsible for covering their own travel, eating and accommodation expenses during the competition.
