Published: June 20, 2018

Starting from June, the general public can search for any necessary information via Zalo app and Short Message Service (SMS) launched by the Da Nang Public Service Portal.

In detail, these new services allow users to search information on such aspects as food safety and hygiene, the travel schedules of bus routes, the operation of base transceiver stations (BTS), land prices, the handling of administrative dossiers, on-going or future events, and traffic violations, including illegal parking, travelling in the wrong lane, running through red lights and exceeding the speed limit .

Further information on the new services mentioned above can be gained by direct calls to Public Service Portal with its hotline 0236 1022.

Officially put into use in April 2016, the Portal has operated effectively, and it has won the trust and high praise from both local residents and visitors.

The hotline aims to offer an opportunity for locals and visitors to have their questions about all aspects answered by the city authorities, even in the English language.

Currently, switchboard operators are on duty from 7.30am - 5.30pm every day.

The Portal now provides free instructions for local citizens, businesses and organisations  seeking to perform any of over 2,000 types of administrative procedures in total.

It also functions as a hotline, receiving all complaints about problems arising across the city.
