Kiki Restaurant - Korean flavour in the city
Korean cuisine is very popular with Da Nang’s residents, and local restaurants which specialise in this are often crowded with customers. Amongst them, the KiKi Restaurant in alley 122a/11 Trung Nu Vuong Street is a popular venue for both Korean visitors and local gourmets.
When arriving at the restaurant, customers will be impressed by its Korean-style airy and romantic space, although it is quite hard for them to find it. The restaurant offers a wide range of delicious drinks and food at reasonable prices. Its most popular dishes include “kimbap chien” (fried kimbap), “banh gao” (topokki), “my lanh” (naengmyeon), “my chachang” (jajangmyeon), “banh my nuong” (toasts), “lau my” (noodle soup), “sup rong bien” (seaweed soup), “sup dau phu” (tofu soup), and “canh bot” (flour soup).

Ms Dung, the restaurant’s owner, said that most of her culinary ingredients are transported directly from Ho Chi Minh City, whilst some come from South Korea.
Some of the restaurant’s dishes |
She said that the restaurant’s chef used to be her mother who used to cook for the Korean expats working in Viet Nam’s footwear manufacturing companies. Thanks to her experience and secret recipes, all her family members have learnt how to cook delicious Korean dishes.

Ms Dung said that the idea of opening a Korean restaurant came from her love of Korean culture and cuisine, and she wanted to share this love with others who have the same interests. She remarked that she always tried her best to create new delicious dishes in order to satisfy all customer tastes, as well as to help the Kiki restaurant to become an indispensable place for both Korean and local gourmets.
The restaurant opens daily at 4pm and closes at 10pm.
