Trading activities conducted in a rush at Tho Quang fishing wharf before its 7-day closure
July 27, 2021, 11:42 [GMT+7]
Following recent instructions by the Da Nang government, the city-based Tho Quang Fishing Wharf, the largest of its kind in Central Viet Nam, temporarily closed for 7 days at 3:00pm on Monday (July 26) following a cluster of COVID-19 infections had been detected. Prior to the wharf’s suspension, fishermen hailing from Da Nang and elsewhere in Central Viet Nam strived to sell as much freshly-caught seafood as possible in tandem with uploading enough ice, food, drinking water, fuels and other necessary provisions to make the departure from this venue.
