Final round of Viet Nam Robot Contest (Robocon) 2013
Co-organised by the Viet Nam Television Station and the Toyota Motor Viet Nam Company, this year’s event has “The Green Planet” as its theme. The competition will see the participation of 32 teams from colleges and universities nationwide and it will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television's channel 2 (VTV2). The winning team will represent Viet Nam at the Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2013 (ABU Robocon), which will also take place in the city in August.

Traditional musical performances for domestic and foreign visitors
During the hour-long shows, domestic and foreign visitors will be treated to live Vietnamese traditional music, solo performances on traditional musical instruments, colourful-costumed dancers, humorous short sketches, and delightful folk songs.

A musical performance entitled “Love and Connection”
An event co-organised by the city’s Association of Agent Orange (AO) Victims, the Party Committee of the bloc of local agencies and departments, the local Youth Union, the Department of Education and Training, and the Da Nang-based Viet Nam Television Station. It aims to raise funds for helping local AO-affected children, and for building a Detoxification and Rehabilitation Centre in Da Nang.

Final round of the UD's Got Talent 2013
Organised by the University of Da Nang, the contest will feature 16 art performances, including singing, dancing, beatboxing, martial arts and instrumental music, which will be performed by students from local universities and colleges.

Exhibition - Paracels of Viet Nam, Historical Evidence
This exhibition will showcase maps and documents which all confirm Viet Nam’s legitimate sovereignty over the Hoang Sa (Paracel) archipelago. These documents were collected and donated to the Museum of Da Nang by a Vietnamese-born American, Mr Tran Thang.

Love 911 and The Hypnotist
Love 911 is a movie about a firefighter who closed his heart after he was unable to save his wife, and a rough doctor who is in danger of getting fired after making a fatal mistake. Kang-il (played by Go Soo) the firefighter and Mi-soo (played by Han Hyo Joo) the doctor will help each other to heal their wounds. As the two save the lives of others, this is a story about the two of them healing their hurt together. It is a warm-hearted story that will move the audience whilst also making them laugh.
The Hypnotist stars Mikael Persbrandt as a psychologist who is brought in by the police to help find a brutal killer. To do so, he must hypnotise the killer's only surviving victim, something he swore he would never do again. Lena Olin plays his wife, and Finnish actor Tobias Zilliacus also stars as police Detective Inspector Joona Linna.
