Photo exhibition

To mark the 10th anniversary of Da Nang's recognition as a first-grade city, a photo exhibition entitled “Da Nang - Hallmark of Time” is taking place in the city.  The exhibition features 100 images, which showcase the city’s outstanding achievements over the 38 years since its liberation, and especially after it became a first-grade city 10 years ago.  The event is being co-organised by the city’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the local Union of Literature and Art Associations.

2013 International Stone Carving Camp

This event, themed “Da Nang - a place on the World Heritage Route”, sees the participation of 240 foreign and 39 domestic sculptors.  During the 3-week event, various activities are also being held in the city, including introducing visitors to the Ngu Hanh Son Cultural Park and local sculpture gardens, a seminar on stone carving, an exhibition of Non Nuoc stone carving products, and other cultural events.

A musical show entitled “Find Each Other” will feature late musician Trinh Cong Son’s songs performed by local univerisity students.
