2013 National Youth Badminton Championships
This event sees the participation of about 100 badminton players from 17 provinces and cities across the country. The contestants are divided into 3 age groups: 12-13, 14-15 and 16-18 years old. They will compete in a round-robin format, and in the categories of men’s and women’s singles and doubles, and mixed doubles.

EWEC Fair 2013
The 2013 International East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) Trade and Tourism Fair will open on Thursday. So far, 280 domestic and foreign businesses with over 450 stands have registered to attend this year’s fair. Displays will include tourism products, electronics, IT, processed and canned food, wooden products and furniture, handicrafts, textiles and garments, fashion accessories, leather goods and footwear, tools and equipment for offices and schools, tourism services, and cuisine, as well as real estate projects which are seeking investment.

Photo exhibition about AO victims
A photo exhibition entitled “The Effects of Agent Orange - Conscience and Justice” will feature around 60 photos of AO victims nationwide. In addition, the exhibition will reflect the worthwhile activities of the War Veterans' Association, the Youth Union Organisation and the Association of AO Victims in the city in helping local victims. Apart from photos, on display will also be 40 precious artifacts from the war years. All the photos and artifacts have been provided by individuals and organisations nationwide.

The street music performances during 2013 take place every second and fourth Saturday each month from now until October. This year’s programme will feature a variety of musical performances, including lively flamenco, fantastic Vietnamese traditional instruments, and interesting contemporary music shows. In addition, there will also be various street arts performances.
