Chamber music concert

This concert, the first of its kind in the city, will feature performances by 3 world-renowned artistes.  Pianist Nguyen Bich Tra has risen to fame in the UK and has been honoured by the Royal Academy of Music for her significant contributions to musical development.  Also performing are British cellist Zoë Martlew, who was the judge of an annual musical talent contest on the BBC, and Atle Sponberg, one of the leading violinists in Norway, who is now the Artistic Director of the Gjøvik Sinfonietta professional orchestra and concertmaster of the Norwegian Radio Orchestra.

Workshop entitled “Learning about Chamber Music Playing Skills”

Participants will be introduced to chamber music masterpieces and international composers over various historical periods, as well as to musical trends in the 20th century.

International EWEC Trade and Tourism Fair 2014

200 domestic and foreign businesses, with 260 stands in total, have registered to attend this year’s event.  Thirty are from Thailand, 10 are from Laos, and the remainder are domestic businesses.  In addition, the event will see the participation of the South African and the US embassies in Viet Nam, each with one stand, and there will be 4 stands for the Malaysian Tourism Administration.
