Clipper Race - photo contest
The competition is open to any amateur or professional photographers. Entries must reflect the exciting support activities, and the beauty of the landscape and people of Da Nang, during the Clipper Race fleet’s stay in the city. Contestants are encouraged to send fresh, creative and inspiring photographs.

Cau Ngu (fish worshipping) Festival
This traditional annual event shows the local fishermen’s strong desire for peaceful offshore fishing trips, with bumper catches. Apart from solemn rituals, the festival also features numerous exciting cultural and sporting activities.

Tran Restaurant - Da Nang Special Food Day
The Tran Restaurant is offering a free set Vietnamese meal to the Clipper Race crews and supporters wearing wristbands. There will also be cookery demonstrations.

7.50pm - Rong (Dragon) Bridge breathes fire and squirts water
7.53pm - Clipper Race boats arrive at the Dragon Bridge and then turn for their return journey
