6th annual Asia Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC 2017)

The international event is being attended by a total of over 650 tour operators, golf course managers, and tourism managers, plus representatives from airlines, travel and media agencies from 36 countries and territories in the Asia-Pacific region.  It provides a good opportunity for buyers and sellers to exchange information about tourism services, destinations, hospitality and conferences relating to the golf tourism industry.

This continent-level event features a 3-day golf tourism conference and an international seminar about Da Nang’s golf tourism.

Basketball 3x3 National Championship 2017

The national tournament has the participation of 8 male teams: Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Ha Noi, the Viet Nam Air Defence and Air Force, Binh Thuan, the Da Nang University of Sports and Physical Training, the University of Da Nang, Can Tho and Nghe An, along with 5 female teams: HCMC, Ha Noi, District No 1 (HCMC), Soc Trang and Quang Ninh.

‘Charming Da Nang’ musical programme

This 60-minute programme opens with a stage presentation highlighting the city’s most impressive sites such as the Da Nang International Airport, the Han River and the tall buildings.  It is followed by delightful performances of singing, dancing and traditional Vietnamese musical instruments, each of them showcasing the culture and beauty of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole.  Interestingly, there is a song named ‘Charming Da Nang’ which was written specifically for this programme.

The movie is an iconoclastic take on the classic Excalibur myth, tracing Arthur’s journey from the streets to the throne.  When the child Arthur’s father is murdered, Vortigern, Arthur’s uncle, seizes the crown.  Robbed of his birthright and with no idea about who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city.  However once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy… whether he likes it or not.

The story revolves around Nishimiya Shoko, a grade school student who has impaired hearing.  She transfers into a new school, where she is bullied by her classmates, especially Ishida Shouya.  It gets to the point where she transfers to another school and as a result, Shouya is ostracised and bullied himself, with no friends to speak to and no plans for the future.  Many years later, he sets himself on a path to redemption.
