8th Da Nang Police Newspaper Football Tournament

Organised by the Da Nang Cong An Newspaper, this year's event marks the 72nd anniversary of the Viet Nam People's Public Security (19 August).  Under the competition’s rules, the 12 participating teams will compete in a round-robin format in the qualifying stages.

Evergreen Farmers’ Market Fair

Organised by the company Evergreen Labs, the fair will introduce local customers to high-quality organic agricultural products.  Included will be forest honey, melaleuca oil, natural cosmetics, food, recycled bags, and handmade items.

The fair will offer sellers a good opportunity to introduce their organic and safe food processing and production to their customers.

B’estival 2017 beer festival

Visitors have the opportunity to enjoy craft beers from 2 brand names, Redrock and Gauden, which are produced in Viet Nam using German technology.  To enrich the flavours of the beers, various food dishes can be purchased, such as BBQ meats, German sausages, and salted bread, which add to the experience of Western cuisine.

‘Five Elements Food Space’ programme

This magnificent culinary space, with 5 open kitchens representing the 5 elements of ancient oriental philosophy, will offer up to 500 national and international dishes in total.  Throughout the programme, there will be arts performances, cooking classes, and exciting eating minigames.  The show will be hosted by Pham Tuan Hai who is a culinary expert, a passionate chef, and a Masterchef Viet Nam judge.  Also, visitors will get the opportunity to meet with international chefs to gain an insight into delicious dishes from their countries, and to join in cooking contests.

‘Charming Da Nang’ musical programme

This 60-minute programme opens with a stage presentation highlighting the city’s most impressive sites such as the Da Nang International Airport, the Han River and the tall buildings.  It is followed by delightful performances of singing, dancing and traditional Vietnamese musical instruments, each of them showcasing the culture and beauty of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole.  Interestingly, there is a song named ‘Charming Da Nang’ which was written specifically for this programme.
