6th charity concert entitled ‘Pink Hearts’

Organised by the city’s Association for Supporting Orphans and the Disabled, the annual concert aims to raise funds for helping local disabled people and orphaned children. It will also honour generous donors and praise shining examples of local disabled people and orphans who have made great efforts to overcome their difficulties to have brighter lives.  The concert will feature song and dance items by some local artistes, disabled people and child orphans.

The event will be broadcast live on Da Nang Radio and Television (DRT) channels.

Tuong street performance

Apart from enjoying impressive Tuong performances, visitors will be introduced to the art of Tuong mask drawing and its dress codes.  In addition, they will have the opportunity to have their photos taken in Tuong costumes which will be available for hire at the event.

‘Bai choi’ (singing while acting as playing cards) performance

‘Five Elements Food Space’ programme

This magnificent culinary space, with 5 open kitchens representing the 5 elements of ancient oriental philosophy, will offer up to 500 national and international dishes in total.  Throughout the programme, there will be arts performances, cooking classes, and exciting eating minigames.  The show will be hosted by Pham Tuan Hai who is a culinary expert, a passionate chef, and a Masterchef Viet Nam judge.  Also, visitors will get the opportunity to meet with international chefs to gain an insight into delicious dishes from their countries, and to join in cooking contests.

‘Charming Da Nang’ musical programme

This 60-minute programme opens with a stage presentation highlighting the city’s most impressive sites such as the Da Nang International Airport, the Han River and the tall buildings.  It is followed by delightful performances of singing, dancing and traditional Vietnamese musical instruments, each of them showcasing the culture and beauty of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole.  Interestingly, there is a song named ‘Charming Da Nang’ which was written specifically for this programme.
