3rd meeting of the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) Wireless Group (AWG-23)
The event features meetings on frequency management, spectrum arrangement, future development of the digital switch-over and additional spectrum available for 4G and many other emerging wireless technologies.
The working groups of the AWG are also reviewing the progress on work items and develop outcomes based on decisions taken at the meeting.

Contemporary arts exhibition themed ‘Connection’
The exhibition aims to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and
European countries.
On display will be a total of arts works made from various materials by 14 foreign artists who are living and working in Da Nang and Quang Nam Province. They come from the UK, France, Russia, the Netherlands, Norway and other European countries.
Opened at 4:30pm on Saturday, 24 March, the event will run until 15 April

Tuong street performance
Apart from enjoying impressive Tuong performances, visitors will be introduced to the art of Tuong mask drawing and its dress codes. In addition, they will have the opportunity to have their photos taken in
Tuong costumes which will be available for hire at the event.

‘Charming Da Nang’ musical programme
This 60-minute programme opens with a stage presentation highlighting the city’s most impressive sites such as the Da Nang International Airport, the Han River and the tall buildings. It is followed by delightful performances of singing, dancing and traditional Vietnamese musical instruments, each of them showcasing the culture and beauty of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole. Interestingly, there is a song named ‘Charming Da Nang’ which was written specifically for this programme.
