Da Nang Shopping Festival 2018

Goods on sale at the festival will include industrial, agricultural, pharmaceutical and electronic products, handicrafts, textiles and garments, leather goods, footwear, food and drinks.

In addition, visitors to the festival will be treated to exciting performances by amusing clowns, magicians, adventurous acrobats, and several types of animals.

Admission is free from 8.00am until 5.00pm. However, tickets priced at 30,000 VND per adult, and at 10,000 VND per child, are required for entry after 5.00pm.

Viet Nam-Japan Cultural Exchange Festival 2018

The event will feature hundreds of cultural, cuisine and information stands.  Some arts troupes from Japan will perform their traditional tea ceremonies, singing and dancing.

In addition, there will be a Japanese eloquent contest, a study abroad seminar, tourism seminars, friendly football matches.

Evergreen Farmers’ Market Fair

Organised by the company Evergreen Labs, the fair will introduce local customers to high-quality organic agricultural products.  Included will be forest honey, melaleuca oil, natural cosmetics, food, recycled bags, and handmade items.

The fair will provide a chance for sellers and buyers to exchange experiences and gain useful information about organic and safe food processing and production.

Beer Festival – B’estival 2018

Inspired from Oktoberfest – the famous beer festival from Bavaria, Germany; B’estival of Sun World Ba Na Hills not only reimagines an exciting festivity scene but also enchants tourists with its own ‘concoction’.

A total of 1 million litres of beer, fine-assorted from the most well-known German breweries is bound to satisfy any beer-fanatic visitor.

This 60-minute programme opens with a stage presentation highlighting the city’s most impressive sites such as the Da Nang International Airport, the Han River, and high-rises. It is followed by delightful performances of singing, dancing, and traditional Vietnamese musical instruments, each of them showcasing the culture and beauty of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole. Interestingly, there is a song named ‘Charming Da Nang’ which was written specifically for this programme.

The Music Box (C18)

When six-year-old Sophie is tragically orphaned guardianship is assigned to her estranged aunt Annabelle. The two move into a large, eerie, Victorian house where Sophie unearths a locked wooden box with a strange symbol drawn on it. Desperate to connect with her niece Annabelle pries the lock open revealing a beautiful music box. Each time the music box is wound and replayed it's surprisingly chilling melody plays slightly longer, captivating Sophie even more. When the music box begins affecting Sophie's behavior and health Annabelle seeks the aid of a child psychologist and clairvoyant who soon discover the music box is possessed by an evil spirit who seeks to haunt Sophie and destroy Annabelle. As the haunting intensifies time begins to run out and Annabelle finds herself racing against the music box's melody to defeat the spirit before the last note plays.
