Liveshow of Cai Luong (reformed opera)

The event will feature some famous Cai Luong extracts which will be performed by such famous domestic artistes as Bach Tuyet, Kim Tu Long, Minh Vuong, Le Thuy, Thoai My, Vu Luan, Vo Minh Lam, Bach Cong Khanh, and Hong Hanh.

International Lion Dance Festival

As part of the Helio Summer Festival 2018, the International Lion Dance Festival features amazing performances by 5 teams from China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Viet Nam.

‘Charming Da Nang’ musical programme

This 60-minute programme opens with a stage presentation highlighting the city’s most impressive sites such as the Da Nang International Airport, the Han River, and high-rises. It is followed by delightful performances of singing, dancing, and traditional Vietnamese musical instruments, each of them showcasing the culture and beauty of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole. Interestingly, there is a song named ‘Charming Da Nang’ which was written specifically for this programme.

Tuong street performance

Apart from enjoying impressive Tuong performances, visitors will be introduced to the art of Tuong mask drawing and its dress codes.  In addition, they will have the opportunity to have their photos taken in Tuong costumes which will be available for hire at the event.

ICAC Investigator William Luk is facing a tough time. Not only did the bribery and money laundering case he's been working on with JFIU Chief Inspector Lau Po-Keung hit a dead end, model Eva Ng has also accused him of accepting a bribe worth millions, leading to his suspension. Lau discovers that Luk has been framed and looks further into it, only to discover that a corrupt higher-up is connected to the case that they have been investigating. Luk will have to put everything on the line to clear his name and bring the criminals to justice.
