Exhibition on Suiseki rocks

 

On display at the event are a total of 35 beautiful works of Suiseki rocks highlighting the beauty of the Creator, and all of them were collected by experienced collector Phan Khoi.

Suiseki are small naturally occurring or shaped rocks which are traditionally appreciated.

The expensive stones which are of natural origin and are found in rivers, oceans, and karst areas, show off their special shapes, colour and textures, and they are not allowed to be reshaped.

These displayed exhibits have won the outstanding prizes at prestigious competitions in such Vietnamese localities as Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Thap, and Da Lat City.

Fine arts exhibition entitled ‘Quintessence of Da Nang Arts’

 

Co-hosted by the municipal Department of Culture and Sports and the city’s Union of Literature and Arts Associations, the event aims to ring in 2019. On display at the exhibition will be 40 fine arts works made by 29 local painters and sculptors. These works have received prizes at municipal, regional and national exhibitions from 2008 to 2018.

‘A Story of Ao Dai’ show

 

‘Ao Dai’ is the embodiment of the Vietnamese female beauty and charming, and it is national apparel symbol of the Vietnamese people.

With the purpose to bring a symbol of Vietnamese culture to visitors arriving in Da Nang, Risemount Premier Resort Danang is proud to be the first place to organise ‘A story of Ao Dai’ in Da Nang – the show on tradditional Vietnamese long dresses and art performances of three regions in Viet Nam.

The show will be an art performance to introduce Vietnamese culture to international friends.

‘Charming Da Nang’ musical programme

 

This 60-minute programme opens with a stage presentation highlighting the city’s most impressive sites such as the Da Nang International Airport, the Han River, and high-rises. It is followed by delightful performances of singing, dancing, and playing traditional Vietnamese musical instruments.

Each of them showcases the culture and beauty of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole. Interestingly, there is a song named ‘Charming Da Nang’ which was written specifically for this programme.
