German Film Festival 2019

During the 5-day film festival, a total of six German films by famous German filmmakers that will be

shown are ‘Jim Button and Luke the Locomotive Driver’, ‘Matti and Sami and the three biggest mistakes of the universe’, ‘Simple’, ‘Supa Modo’, ‘My devil-friend Lilith’, and ‘Little Witch’. The theme of each of the movies involves young people who possess strong characteristics and they are both adventurous and full of imagination.

Fine arts exhibition celebrates Viet Nam's Revolutionary Press Day

Co-hosted by the Da Nang Journalists' Association, the VNA representative office, the municipal Fine Arts Association, and the ‘Van Hien Viet Nam’ and ‘Do Thi Va Phat Trien’ magazines, the event aims to celebrate the 94th anniversary of Viet Nam’s Revolutionary Press Day (21 June).

On display at the 8-day exhibition are 40 works in total made by newspaper materials, bringing back to visitors memories of simple and rustic images captured across small street corners.

A parade of 4 flower-decorated vehicles, and 80 foreign dancers in eye-catching costumes, will depart from the Han River Bridge and arrive at its final destination at the main stage, opposite the headquarters of the municipal People’s Council.

During the parade, the dancers will perform interesting dances at stop venues, creating a vibrant music space.

Tuong street performance

Apart from enjoying impressive Tuong performances, visitors will be introduced to the art of Tuong mask drawing and its dress codes. In addition, they will have the opportunity to have their photos taken in Tuong costumes which will be available for hire at the event.

Helio Summer Festival 2019

The festival features a bustling seafood street and night market where visitors can try a variety of delicious seafood dishes and street food. With more than 150 food stalls in total, the night market is expected to satisfy the requirements of gourmets.

Beer Festival - B’estival 2019

Inspired from Oktoberfest – the famous beer festival from Bavaria, Germany; B’estival of Sun World Ba Na Hills not only re-creates an exciting festivity scene but also enchants tourists with its own ‘concoction’.

A total of 1 million litres of beer, fine-assorted from the most well-known German breweries is bound to satisfy any beer-fanatic visitor.

The B’estival takes place at Du Dome Square, and Beer Plaza - a new venue designed exclusively for B’estival with capacity of over 3,000 seats.

‘A Story of Ao Dai’ show

‘Ao Dai’ is the embodiment of the Vietnamese female beauty and charming, and it is national apparel symbol of the Vietnamese people.

With the purpose to bring a symbol of Vietnamese culture to visitors arriving in Da Nang, the Risemount Premier Resort Danang is proud to be the first place in the city to organise ‘A story of Ao Dai’ which is the show on tradditional Vietnamese long dresses and art performances of three regions in Viet Nam.

The show will be an art performance to introduce Vietnamese culture to international friends.

‘Charming Da Nang’ musical programme

This 60-minute programme opens with a stage presentation highlighting the city’s most impressive sites such as the Da Nang International Airport, the Han River, and high-rises. It is followed by delightful performances of singing, dancing, and playing traditional Vietnamese musical instruments.

Each of them showcases the culture and beauty of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole. Interestingly, there is a song named ‘Charming Da Nang’ which was written specifically for this programme.
