Within the framework of the Da Nang International Marathon 2019Ronny Dash is a 1km race for kids aged between 3 and 10.

This exciting event aims to encourage children to be more active, healthy, and show their love with Da Nang.

Themed ‘Because I Love Da Nang’, this year’s event will comprise 4 races: a 42,195 km full marathon, a 21,0975 km half marathon, a 10km run, and a 5km run.

The route of the full and half marathon races will be the East Sea Park - Vo Nguyen Giap - Nguyen Van Thoai - Tran Thi Ly Bridge - 2 September - Bach Dang -  Nhu Nguyet - Thuan Phuoc Bridge - Le Duc Tho - Hoang Sa - Le Van Luong - Hoang Sa - Vo Nguyen Giap - the East Sea Park, with marathon entrants doing 2 laps.

As for the 10km run, the route will be the East Sea Park - Vo Nguyen Giap - the intersection of Nguyen Van Thoai, Vo Nguyen Giap and Hoang Sa streets - Hoang Sa - Vo Nguyen Giap - the East Sea Park.

With regard to the 5km run, the route will be the East Sea Park - Vo Nguyen Giap - the intersection of Phan Ba Phien and Hoang Sa streets - Vo Nguyen Giap - the East Sea Park.

Da Nang Environment Festival 2019

The event will feature an outdoor market selling organic products, and healthy food and beverages; outdoor games for both children and adults; and workshops on environmental protection.

Within the framework of the festival, 5 creative sculptures featuring dolphins swallowing plastic waste will be placed on Da Nang beaches to raise public awareness about the damage done by plastic materials to marine life.

1st Da Nang International Fine Arts Exhibition

Co-organised by the Ministry’s Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition and the municipal Department of Culture and Sports, the exhibition is the good opportunity to advertise the young and dynamic images of Da Nang to international friends, thereby contributing to promoting its brand name of a liveable city to them.

The event features over 50 works in various genres, including painting, sculpture and installation art, all created by 25 talented artists from 15 countries, including 6 Vietnamese ones.

EWEC Trade and Tourism Fair 2019

The International East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) Trade and Tourism Fair 2019 will feature around 300 stands by over 140 domestic and foreign businesses.

The stands will offer a wide range of tourism, trade and investment products, including electrical and electronic devices, IT, wooden products and furniture, handicrafts, textiles and garments, leather goods and footwear, tourism services and cuisine.

‘The Soul of Viet Nam’ traditional arts show

The 60-minute show is deeply imbued with distinctive cultural Vietnamese traditions, especially those of the Quang Nam – Da Nang land.

During the show, the audience will be offered a chance to discover the quintessence of Tuong traditional arts via popular extracts and typical make-up methods of this stage performing arts form.

Besides, arts lovers will be treated to the festive atmosphere of the rural area in the old days and immerse themselves into the melodies of such traditional Vietnamese musical instruments as monochord and lithophone consisting of pieces of rock which are struck to produce musical notes.

Helio Summer Festival 2019

The festival features a bustling seafood street and night market where visitors can try a variety of delicious seafood dishes and street food. With more than 150 food stalls in total, the night market is expected to satisfy the requirements of gourmets.

In addition, they can take part in a vibrant beer and grilled food. Visitors will really be immersed themselves in the festive atmosphere and boisterous melodies, as well as enjoy tasty grilled food whilst drinking beers to keep cool during summer days.

Notably, one of the highlights of the festival is Mediterranean Film Studio. The 200m-long and over 100,000 USD film studio is attracting a great deal of attention from young visitors who want to check in and take selfies.

Beer Festival - B’estival 2019

Inspired from Oktoberfest – the famous beer festival from Bavaria, Germany; B’estival of Sun World Ba Na Hills not only re-creates an exciting festivity scene but also enchants tourists with its own ‘concoction’.

A total of 1 million litres of beer, fine-assorted from the most well-known German breweries is bound to satisfy any beer-fanatic visitor.

The B’estival takes place at Du Dome Square, and Beer Plaza - a new venue designed exclusively for B’estival with capacity of over 3,000 seats.

‘A Story of Ao Dai’ show

‘Ao Dai’ is the embodiment of the Vietnamese female beauty and charming, and it is national apparel symbol of the Vietnamese people.

With the purpose to bring a symbol of Vietnamese culture to visitors arriving in Da Nang, the Risemount Premier Resort Danang is proud to be the first place in the city to organise ‘A story of Ao Dai’ which is the show on tradditional Vietnamese long dresses and art performances of three regions in Viet Nam.

‘Charming Da Nang’ musical programme

This 60-minute programme opens with a stage presentation highlighting the city’s most impressive sites such as the Da Nang International Airport, the Han River, and high-rises. It is followed by delightful performances of singing, dancing, and playing traditional Vietnamese musical instruments.

Each of them showcases the culture and beauty of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole. Interestingly, there is a song named ‘Charming Da Nang’ which was written specifically for this programme.
