Spanish Film Festival 2019
Organised by the Embassy of Spain in Viet Nam, the Spanish Film Festival 2019 offers the good opportunity for locals and visitors arriving in Da Nang to understand more about the culture and people of Spain.
Accordingly, 5 films with Vietnamese subtitles are being screened at the cinema at 7.00pm daily during that period. They include Flamenco Flamenco; Requisitos para ser una persona normal; Un día vi 10.000 elefantes; Felices 140; and María y los demás. These movies are newly-produced ones by famous Spanish filmmakers.

‘The Soul of Viet Nam’ traditional arts show
The 60-minute show is deeply imbued with distinctive cultural Vietnamese traditions, especially those of the Quang Nam – Da Nang land.
During the show, the audience will be offered a chance to discover the quintessence of Tuong traditional arts via popular extracts and typical make-up methods of this stage performing arts form.
Besides, arts lovers will be treated to the festive atmosphere of the rural area in the old days, and immerse themselves into the melodies of such traditional Vietnamese musical instruments as monochord and lithophone consisting of pieces of rock which are struck to produce musical notes.

‘Charming Da Nang’ musical programme
This 60-minute programme opens with a stage presentation highlighting the city’s most impressive sites such as the Da Nang International Airport, the Han River, and high-rises. It is followed by delightful performances of singing, dancing, and playing traditional Vietnamese musical instruments.
Each of them showcases the culture and beauty of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole. Interestingly, there is a song named ‘Charming Da Nang’ which was written specifically for this programme.
