Parasailing, also known as parascending or parakiting, is a recreational kiting activity where a person is towed behind a vehicle, usually a speedboat, while attached to a specially designed canopy wing that reminds one of a parachute, known as a parasail wing.

Since its operation in 2014, parasailing has been becoming an attractive and popular water sport activity on Da Nang beaches, especially on the My Khe Beach.

When participating in this adventure sport, you will be equipped with life-jackets which will help you float as landing in the sea. You will then strap yourselves into a parasail and prepare for takeoff.

You will be raised slowly and gently by a speedboat to reach the height of around 50 meters above sea level. During the flight, you will experiment with a great sensation of liberty and peace whilst enjoying stunning panoramic views of Da Nang beaches and a part of the Son Tra Peninsula from above. 

Descending will go just as gently until you reach the sea surface where their instructors are waiting to assist.

Participants are raised slowly and gently by a speedboat to reach the height of around 50 meters above sea level.

At the height of around 50 meters above sea level, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the Son Tra Peninsula and the Linh Ung Pagoda.

Currently, there are single and double parasailing services on Da Nang beaches, with each flight lasting between 15 and 20 minutes.

The single parasailing service costs 500,000 VND/ person/ flight, whilst the double service costs only 800,000 VND/ 2 persons/ flight.

In addition to parasailing, Da Nang beaches offer a wide range of water sports, including jet skiing, surfboarding, and banana boat riding, with prices ranging between 500,000 VND and 2 million VND depending on the number of participants and playing time.
