Wide array of activities to be held in Da Nang over forthcoming public holiday of April 30 and May 1

A wide array of engrossing activities will be held across Da Nang over the four-day break for the National Reunification Day (April 30) and Labour Day (May 1) holidays.

Specifically, Sun Group-organised Colour Me Run 2022 will take place on the afternoon of April 23 at the Ngu Hanh Park in Ngu Hanh Son District.

As part of the ‘City Lad’ project, the Da Nang Socio-Economic Development Research Institute is hosting an arts programme at the semicircle of Bach Dang Street from April 22 - 29.

Hosted by the Phap Luat (Law) TV Media JSC, the Miss Vietnam Global beauty pageant 2022 will take place at the city’s Trung Vuong Theatre on April 26.

An arts exhibition themed ‘Convergence of colors’ is scheduled to be organised at the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum from April 27 - May 20.

On April 28, the awards ceremony of the Da Nang Literature and Arts Awards 2022 will take place at the Trung Vuong Theatre, whilst the opening ceremony of the nighttime entertainment activities along the My An beach in Ngu Hanh Son District will be held on the same day.

Visitors to the Museum of Da Nang on April 29 and 30 will have the opportunity to experience a walking tour entitled ‘Following the footsteps of the liberation army’.

The Viet Nam Circus Federation will perform at the Trung Vuong Theatre from April 29 - May 1. Children and animal lovers will be fascinated by the many trained animals which include elephants, monkeys, dogs, horses and bears. In addition, the audience will be treated to exciting performances by amusing clowns as well as thrilling magical tricks and adventurous acrobatics.

Also during that time, the Da Nang Culture and Cinema Centre in collaboration with the Da Nang Radio and Television Station will organise a series of films on the occasion of April 30 and May 1.

Most specially, on April 30, a series of exciting cultural and entertainment activities will be organised across the city. Included will be the Street Dance program on Tran Hung Dao Street in Son Tra District, street magic shows on the western end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge, a street music programme on Nhu Nguyet Street, a musical instrument concert, and ‘Bai choi’ performances.

Additionally, visitors to Da Nang during the forthcoming public holiday will have a chance to immerse themselves in vibrant music atmosphere at the ‘Rap Show’ which is slated for April 30 evening at the Tien Son Sports Arena.

On May 1, the city’s Culture and Cinema Centre will hold an exchange programme amongst dance clubs in the city.

The opening ceremony of the An Thuong Tourist Streets complex and night-time entertainment activities along the My An Beach in Ngu Hanh Son District will take place at 6.30pm on April 28 on the pavement of Hoang Ke Viem Street, in front of the Holiday Beach Danang Resort.

Also on the same day, the vibrant ‘Street Dance’ programme will be organised at the An Thuong Tourist Streets at 7.30pm.
