Hong Kong (China) has decided to lower travel warnings for its citizens wishing to travel to Bangkok, stating that travelers should exercise caution during their visits and that the emergency decree in the Thai capital has finally been lifted.

Hong Kong has changed its “black” warning - avoid any travels to Thailand - into a “yellow” warning - exercising caution when traveling to the Kingdom.

However, the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs said there are still 50 countries that remain to show travel warnings to Thailand . Of them, Kuwait and Iran are the only two countries that have told their citizens to avoid traveling to Thailand .

Countries that have specifically warned its citizens to avoid only Bangkok include Kazakstan , Oman , Russia, and Taiwan while Malaysia , the United Arab Emirates and Qatar have suggested postponing trips to the Kingdom.

The rest have suggested avoiding the ongoing protest areas and exercising caution when traveling.
