At least 12 people were killed and 24 others were injured on August 13 when a passenger bus rolled over in northwest Cambodia, near Thailand.

The accident took place in Anlong Veng district, Oddar Meanchey province at 11:30 (local time) when the speeding bus drove downhill and overturned into a valley, according to police.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.
