Indonesia, India to conduct 4th joint military exercise

Indonesia and India will conduct a joint military exercise called “Garuda Shakti” to enhance the ability of the two countries’ armies to undertake joint tactical-level operations.
The fourth edition of the joint exercise will take place over 13 days starting from March 10at Magelang, Indonesia. It will be conducted as a joint counter insurgency operations exercise in urban and rural scenarios and encompass various facets of tactical counter insurgency operations.

The event will be attended by senior officers from both armies and civil dignitaries.
India-Indonesia joint training exercise was first launched in 2012 in India.
