The annual Lao Wood Furniture Fair will take place in Vientiane from 7-15 January, to promote locally made furniture and provide furniture producers the opportunity to access more markets, both domestic and overseas, according to the Lao News Agency (KPL).

This event will be the 3^rd of its kind following the success of two previous events held over the previous 2 years, President of the Lao Furniture Association,  Khamphay Somsana has told media.

The fair, to be held at the Lao-ITECC by the Lao Furniture Association, is expected to feature furniture products made from hard woods, rattan and bamboo, handicraft products, and carved wood products.

The organising committee of the trade fair said that entrepreneurs can reserve booths for their products 5 days before the fair is opened.
